Unisa is a highly sought after, distanced-learning university and is in fact, the largest of its kind on the continent of Africa. The process for admission to the university at an undergraduate capacity includes the submission of a number of documents.
The university harbours a majority of its students on a part-time basis and has close to 500 000 students enrolled. Due to its flexibility, it is no wonder that many students opt for the study programme that Unisa has to offer, as it especially caters to students who may be employed fulltime or who may not be able to attend on-campus lectures on a regular basis.
Once the student has deduced that they have met all the necessary requirements to enrol as a Unisa student, they will need to supply the following documents:
- Copy of school qualifications, i.e. a diploma, National Senior Certificate (NSC), etc.
- Copy of official tertiary academic records (if applicable)
- Copy of ID or passport depending on whether you are a South African citizen or international student
- Copy of marriage certificate or divorce certificate (if applicable)
