University of Pretoria Registration For 2024 Now Open

Registrations at The University of Pretoria (UP) Tuks is now open for new and current students. Online registration will be available on the UP Student Portal.

University of Pretoria Registration Dates

• New students: 25 January - 1 March
• Returning students: 3 January - 1 March

How To Register At UP

First-year students, who are not sure about their curriculum, need to register for core and fundamental modules. Elective modules can be added after attending the orientation programme and curriculum advice.

First-years with fixed curricula can register their modules as they appear on the registration page. 

1. Log in to UP Student Portal
2. Click on the UP Student Centre link.
3. Click on 'online registration'
4. Click on 'next' to take you to the disclaimer page where you tick 'I confirm' to indicate that you agree to the University's terms and conditions
5. Click 'I agree' to go to the next page
6. On the information consent page you must answer all the questions
7. Click on 'next'
8. Fill in the correct informatinon
9. Do the course selection
10. Click on 'next'
11. Once you are happy with your course selection, click on 'confirm'

Those students who need in-person assistance with registration will need to visit the Hillcrest Campus, as assistance will be provided from 25 January 2024 to 16 February 2024, Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00.

The Registration Call Centre will be available from 4 January 2024 to 16 February 2024 from 08:00 to 16:00.
