The University of Pretoria's course applications are available online via their website.
Once you know what programmes you would like to apply for and you have checked that you meet the requirements, then you can apply.
Applicants are advised to apply as soon as possible as applications will close as soon as capacity has been reached for a particular programme.
To apply online you will need the following:
- Good internet connection
- A valid email address
The email address is necessary because upon submission of your online application, a student number (EMPLID) will be sent to this email address as a confirmation of receipt.
HOW TO APPLY
- Click here to visit the online application portal.
- Fill in the needed information and submit the necessary documents.
- Submit your application.
Once the application has been submitted, you will receive communication from the university, explaining how to access your Student Centre through the UP Student Portal, enabling you to track your progress and status, as well as other communications and possible outstanding items.
An application fee of R300 must be paid once you have submitted your application.
Students who apply to UP and have a household income that is lower or equal to R150 000 per annum may not be required to pay this application fee.
