- Pre-Vocational Learning Programmes: Minimum Grade 9 Certificate.
- National Certificate Vocational NC(V): Minimum entrance requirement, Grade 9 or NQF Level 1 equivalent.
- NATED/Report 191: Engineering Programmes: Minimum entrance requirement, Grade 11 with Mathematics (minimum 50% pass) or Grade 12 with Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy (50%).

Students are encouraged to apply for NSFAS as it provides financial relief for low-income households. They provide bursary accommodation as well as private accommodation for students who do not qualify for bursary residence.
All applicants will need to do is supply the necessary documentation such as proof of registration, proof of address and proof that they have an annual household income of less than R350 000.
