All False Bay TVET College applicants who wish to apply for Semester 2 for the 2024 academic year, may do so today. Late applications close on 26 July.

False Bay College is now taking applications for National Certificate N4 via Distance Learning for the following programmes:

  • Management Assistant
  • Financial Management
  • Business Management

Applicants are required to complete and submit a Personal Information Consent Form as part of their application process. 

Before students may apply they will need to complete a Career Guidance Questionnaire, which is available on the university website, as well as the Personal Information Consent Form. Applicants are reminded that their application will not be considered if they did not complete the questionnaire.

False Bay TVET college offers courses in a range of fields catering to students with diverse interests. You can now apply for a range of National Diploma Programmes (N4-N6) including Business Management, Human Resources, Financial Management, and more.

Applicants can choose between full-time, part-time, or distance learning.

Documents Needed For False Bay TVET College Applications 

  • Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport).
  • Most recent Academic results.
  • Certificates/Qualifications.
  • Municipal billing document/other account statements.
  • Personal Information Consent Form

When applying online applicants are reminded that they will need to use Chrome, Firefox or other browsers. Internet Explorer may not be used as it is not compatible with the online portal.

Once the application form has been submitted, the applicant will receive an email and SMS. Applications will be evaluated, based on the College admission policy and the applicant’s academic results, at predetermined dates by the College Selection Committee.

Offer letters will be distributed to applicants which state whether they were accepted at the college. The offer letter can be accessed on the Application Portal and students will be requested to accept the offer on the portal, within 5 days from the date of issue.

After the student has accepted the offer letter, they will be provided with an addendum which needs to be completed and submitted with proof of payment or bursary office approval notice via the Application Portal.

Those who indicated in the application that they are applying for a bursary will be contacted by the Bursary Office. The Bursary Office will explain the process to be followed and which documents are required.

Students will receive a notification that their admission has been approved as well as their student number and password to access the Student Portal. Students may access academic, financial and biographical information on the Student Portal.

Does NSFAS Pay For False Bay TVET College Fees?

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is providing comprehensive bursaries to over a million deserving students pursuing tertiary education across public higher education institutions in South Africa. 

NSFAS will pay fees for approved courses offered by False Bay TVET College. This is because False Bay TVET College is one of the 50 accredited public TVET colleges in South Africa. 

Students at public universities and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges can apply for a NSFAS bursary.
