According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, the rate of employment for Human Resource managers is set to increase from 2022 to 2028. If you are interested in participating in a Human Resource course at UCT, we can help you figure out how you can do this.

The University of Cape Town does not have on-campus human resource management courses however they have do have an online HR Management course. This course is done through GetSmarter UCT, which offers a variety of online and short courses for students who are interested.

The only Human Resource Management course offered by UCT at the time of writing is available online through GetSmarter. The duration of the course is 10 weeks and students are required to put in 7-10 hours of self-paced learning for the duration of the course. 

The HR course is aimed at professionals who want to learn how to practically implement effective HR management strategies and plans in any industry or organisation. The course will be beneficial to people who are looking to improve their ability to recruit and manage personnel.

Students will be given a series of practical assignments which they will be able to complete online. Once the students have completed the assignments they will be issued with a certificate that confirms the completion of the course.
