The University of the Free State (UFS) is a multi-campus institution situated in Bloemfontein. UFS has 3 campuses which are the Bloemfontein Campus, Qwaqa Campus and the South Campus. UFS offers a variety of qualifications for both postgrad and undergrad students. A variety of Faculties are offered by the University of the Free State.

These Higher Certificates are offered at selected campuses only. The University of Free Stae has also stated that if a higher certificate programme does not have enough students then the programme will be cancelled.
