The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has confirmed the grant payment dates for June 2024. This will come as welcomed news for millions of vulnerable people living in South Africa who are reliant on social grants. When you know your grant dates for June 2024 you can plan ahead for the month.

Child Grant Payment Dates

When looking for Sassa news the Child Support Grant payment dates is one of the most important things that people want to know. If you are supporting a child through the Child Grant you will want to budget for the month by knowing what the payment dates are.

The full list of grants distributed by Sassa include Older Persons pension grants, Disability grants, War Veterans grants, Care Dependency grants, Foster Child grants, Child Support grants, Child Support grant Top-Up and Grant-in-aid.

In June 2024,  Sassa will begin on Tuesday, 4 June 2024 with pension Sassa grant payments June 2024. This will be followed by the distribution of all other permanent grants on consecutive days.

Where To Collect Your Sassa Grant 

Grant beneficiaries have the option to receive their grants directly deposited into their bank accounts. Alternatively, they can collect their grants in cash at various locations, including ATMs and stores like Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite, and Boxer. 

Sassa recommends not feeling pressured to withdraw the money right away because it will stay in your bank account after it is deposited.

There is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed. 

Here’s How Much Sassa Grants Will Be For May 

  • Older Persons grant - R2,180
  • Older Persons (75 years and older) - R2,200
  • Disability grant - R2,180
  • War Veterans grant - R2,200
  • Care Dependency grant - R2,180
  • Foster Care grant - R1,180

Sassa Payment Dates For 2024 Child Grant

You already have the Sassa Payment dates for 2024 child grant and now here are the payment amounts for the Child Support Grant that you will receive in June. 

  • Child Support grant - R530
  • Child Support grant (Top-up) - R530 + R250

Sassa R350 Grant Payment Date

We get enquiries each month about the Sassa R350 grant payment dates. Sassa have said there isn't a specific date for the SRD grant, and if you have listed your bank account with them on your Sassa status it will be paid into your bank account as soon as the funds are released. The other news on your Sassa grant status is of course that the SRD Grant has been increased by R20 and is now R370 per month.

Sassa grants are expected to increase on 1 October 2024 so beneficiaries will be seeing more money in their bank account from that date and were first increased on 1 April 2024.
