Sol Plaatje University has announced that registration has officially opened registrations for 2024. Here is all the information you need to know to ensure your registration process runs smoothly.

2024 registration is now open at Sol Plaatje University (SPU) for the upcoming academic year for both new and returning students. Registration dates for SPU students will vary for first-time entering and returning students.

Sol Plaatje University Registration Dates

  • Online or on-campus registration for first-time entering students: 5 – 16 February 2024
  • Online registration for returning students: 22 January – 16 February 2024

First-time students who have received a firm-offer are encouraged to register online. Students who are unable to register online, or who require assistance with their registration, can register at the Central Campus on the applicable dates.

Students completing their registration on campus must bring their firm-offer letter with them. 

How To Register Online

  1. Go to the SPU iEnabler website
  2. Login with your student number and five-digit pin then click on the Login Button
  3. Click on Registration on your left, then click on Rules and Regulations
  4. Upload required documents
  5. Click on Submit Registration on your left and complete the fields
  6. Click the Accept Registration Button to generate your Proof of Registration

Orientation week, which is compulsory for first year students, runs from 5 – 16 February on Central Campus.

SPU Courses

SPU offers a range of both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees under the following faculties:

  • Economic and Management Sciences
  • Education
  • Humanities
  • Natural and Applied Sciences

SPU has only one campus located in the Civic Centre in Kimberly.
