Off-Campus Accommodation

Students are advised to make sure that the off-campus accommodation they secure is recommended by the university before signing any lease agreements.

SPU has said the following concerning off-campus accommodation:

"Some student funders, like the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), does however require the university to recommend off-campus accommodation.

This can be facilitated through the residence manager, Ms Faith Nconyane at 053 491 0106 or [email protected]"

DigsConnect is also a good avenue for students to take when they are searching for accommodation. They make finding accommodation easier for students as their website is tailored for students. Read our article on DigsConnect here to get more information.

There are also always options such as Gumtree, Junkmail ads, property websites and Facebook where advertisements for property can be found.
