With the academic year about to start, you will then need your Unisa study materials. If you're wondering where it currently is, here's a guide on how to track it.

If you selected "courier" at the point of registration, you will be able to track the progress of your study material once it has been dispatched to the respective courier services.

How To Track Your Unisa Study Material

  • Use this link to track your study material from DSV-Imbani Courier Services (Muckleneuk Campus): https://clientzone.distribution.za.dsv.com/TrackAndTrace/Unisa.html
  • Use this link to track your study material from Madibana Courier Services (Science Campus, Florida): www.madibana.com 
  • You can contact the DSC-Imbani Courier Services dedicated line for study material enquiries: +27 12 673 2223.
  • You can also contact the Madibana Courier Services dedicated line for study material enquiries: +27 11 892 0272 and 0860 017 449

While you're waiting for your study material to be delivered, you can access it online. Downloading study material from myUnisa is easy to do. Just follow these steps:

  • Go to https://my.unisa.ac.za and login with your student number and password. If you haven't yet activated your myUnisa account and claimed your myLife e-mail account, click on "Claim Unisa login" on the homepage of myUnisa and follow the instructions.
  • Click on the myModules tab / link at the top of the screen.
  • Then click on "Sites" (next to where your name is displayed on the top right of the screen).
  • Now click on the star next to the module's name. The star will turn orange. Close the sites screen.
  • You will see a message that states "Reload to see your updated favourite sites". Click on "Reload".
  • Your selected modules will now appear in the top navigation. 
  • Now click on one of your module codes (eg ICT3621) and then on "Official study material" in the left-hand navigation panel. The PDF versions of the available study material for that module will display.

The University of South Africa (Unisa) makes use of Open and Distance Learning (ODL) which enables students to pursue their degrees, diplomas and certificates by using online resources and study materials provided by Unisa themself.
