The University of South Africa, more commonly known as Unisa is an open distance e-learning university which can help you attain degrees, diplomas and certificates at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels, that can allow you to reach your dream career!

This university has a Nursing School which offers students an opportunity to receive accredited training in nursing.

In order to register for Nursing at the University of South Africa (Unisa) you must follow the steps below: 

  • Go to the UNISA Application portal at https://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/corporate/default/Apply-for-admission
  • If you are on the home page of the UNISA website, click on the “Admission” tab
  • Click the “Apply for Admission” option
  • Select your qualification you wish to apply for
  • If you are starting a new nursing course you must select the new qualification
  • Read the information on the screen very carefully
  • Proceed via the online application process

If you are looking to fund your Nursing studies at Unisa then you can look into applying for the NSFAS bursary, Feenix, Fundi loans and bank loans.
