My Unisa application is at a stand still, what should I do?

Try contacting Unisa at 0800 00 1870. If that does not offer much help, visit the Unisa offices and enquire about your application there. Have a copy of your ID, your student number and results with you, just in case.

What do I do after I'm accepted?

  1. First of all, you're going to have to accept the offer.
  2. Then you're going to have to register. Registration closes in February.
  3. Make the necessary payments.
  4. Collect or download your study materials. For more information on how to do this, click here.

How do I make the payments to complete my registration?

Visit www.unisa.ac.za/paymentinfo for Unisa's payment methods and banking details. About payment concerns, Unisa is aware that some students' payments are not reflecting on their student accounts. They are working on this and hope to have all payments correctly allocated the set date which is usually in February..

What do I do after my registration is finalised?

  1. You've received an SMS for confirmation.
  2. Go to myUnisa and claim login.
  3. Enter your details.
  4. You will then be sent your password and email to log in to your myLife account.
  5. Log in and download assignments and notes while you wait for hard copy due dates to near.
  6. After 24 hours, your myLife account will be active.
  7. Log in and see emails.

I'm still waiting for Unisa to submit my proof of registration to NSFAS, what do I do?

  1. Log in to your Unisa myLife email. For more information on how to do this, click here.
  2. Download your proof of registration.
  3. Email the proof of registration to [email protected]. Use your SA ID number as a reference in the subject line.
