SASSA issues grants including disability grants, grants for the elderly (pension), child support grants, social relief grants, care dependency grants, Grants-in-Aid, war veteran's grants, foster child grants, and as of the Covid-19 pandemic, they have been issuing grants for the unemployed.
Although the grants cannot be physically collected from SASSA branches, people can apply for grants at these branches and present any other queries for which answers cannot easily be found online.
