About the Pick n Pay UIF Skills Programme
Pick n Pay is inviting unemployed South Africans to apply for its UIF Skills Programme, which is designed to equip participants with practical retail knowledge and workplace experience.
The programme follows a blended learning model, combining online learning with in-store practical training. Participants will receive guidance from experienced store mentors while developing the skills needed to succeed in the retail industry.

Pick n Pay UIF Skills Programme Requirements
To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have a Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Be between the ages of 18 and 40 years.
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be currently unemployed.
- Have an interest in food, retail and customer service.
- Be willing to work retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Be committed to completing the full six-month skills development programme.
