Mr Price Group is currently accepting applications for its 2026 Workplace Experience Programme (WEP). WEP is Mr Price Group's annual internship programme designed for final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students across South Africa. 

The Buying Stream specifically caters to students interested in the exciting world of retail buying while the Planning Stream caters towards those interest in retail planning. Selected for a duration of 3 weeks, from 22nd June to Friday 10 July 2026, this programme will be hosted at the Mr Price Group HQ in Durban.

WEP Buying is open to students who are: in their final year (3rd year) of undergraduate studies (Degree/Diploma) or postgraduate studies (Honours) and are currently enrolled in any of the following areas of study

  • Consumer Science
  • Fashion Production
  • Fashion Buying (perfect match!)
  • Fashion Management & Communications
  • Interior Design
  • Textile Design
