Matric Rewrite Results 2024
Soon, candidates will sit for the May/June National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination period for 2024, for both public and private school learners. The May/June Matric exam period will then come to an end in June.

This exam period is available for learners who were registered for the previous year's National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams to improve their marks and for learners who were absent from the November exams.
Once the Matric rewrite exams are completed, students will then await the release of their May/June Matric results.
When will the May/June Matric rewrite results be released?
The May/June Matric rewrite results are expected to be released on 7 August 2024. Candidates can then collect their Matric rewrite results at the relevant centres where candidates wrote their Matric exam and at identified collection points.
NSC candidates who write the 2024 May/June candidates are the only candidates eligible to register for the November NSC examination when their results are released in August 2024.
This will be communicated to candidates through SMS.

Matric Remarks, Rechecks & Viewing Of Scripts
Candidates can apply to view their script within seven days of the release of their Matric rewrite results and clear reasons for the request must be provided.
As for matric remarks/rechecks, candidates can apply within 21 days after the release of the Matric results.
Next Matric Rewrite Applications Period
Registrations for the 2024 October/November matric exam period are closed. This means that the next matric rewrite application period will be for the 2025 May/June matric exams.
However, candidates who wrote during the 2024 May/June examination session who are unhappy with their results from this exam period, can register to rewrite their exams at the end of 2024.
Applications to rewrite matric in May/June 2025 will open in October 2024.
