2024 May/June Matric Rewrite Results Now Available

Many learners participated in the 2024 May/June matric exams. The Department of Basic Education (DBE) has confirmed the release of results and candidates can now collect their results.

Matric Results Available

The Department of Basic Education (DBE) has released the May/July 2024 Matric Rewrite results. Learners who participated in the examinations can now access their matric results. 

DBE Matric exam rewrite results 2024 for candidates who participated in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) and Senior Certificate (SC) exams were released on Wednesday, 7 August 2024. 

The 2024 May/June SC/NSC examination results will be released on 7 August 2024.

Matric exam results can be collected by learners at the school or examination centre where they wrote their matric exams. 

Results are to be collected from the examination centre/school where you sat for your examination.

Registration For November Exams

Learners who are not satisfied with their May/June results or want to improve their results can register for the end-of-year NSC exams.

However, only candidates who participated in NSC exams will be able to participate in the 2024 November matric exams. Registration for participation in the end-of-year matric exams are now open and will close on 21 August 2024. 

Only NSC candidates who wrote the 2024 May/June examination are eligible. Registration will close on 21 August 2024. 

Learners who wrote the May/June 2024 matric exams can rewrite specific subjects in the end-of-year exams to improve their results.

Candidates can ONLY register to improve on the subjects that they wrote during the 2024 May/June NSC examination.

The DBE also encouraged learners to familiarise themselves with the information on the back of their statement of results for further information.
