Millions of people are eligible for Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant payments and submit R370 grant applications monthly. Now, the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has confirmed the Sassa SRD grant payment schedule for November 2024.

SRD grant payment dates inform millions of people when they can expect to receive their Sassa SRD grant payment.

When To Expect Sassa SRD Grant Payment For November 2024

Sassa has revealed that if you were found to be eligible to receive the SRD grant in November, you will then receive payment between 25 and 30 November.

Payments (for clients who are approved for the month of November 2024) will be processed from 25-30 November 2024. Clients are encouraged to view their status on the SRD website for the exact date that payment will reflect into their bank accounts.

Where to Collect SRD Grant Payments for November 2024

If you have been approved for an SRD grant in November 2024, you have two collection options. You can either receive your SRD grant directly into your bank account or collect the money from a supermarket.

Supermarkets authorised to pay SRD grants include Pick n Pay, Boxer, Checkers, USave, OK, and Spar.

Sassa advises beneficiaries that payments may take between two and three days to reflect in their bank accounts. Once the funds are available, they can begin using their grant money.

SRD grant beneficiaries are urged to do a Sassa status check to find the exact date they can expect their SRD grant payment to reflect in their accounts.

Sassa Status Check For R350 Payment Dates For 2024 For November Dates

First, visit the Sassa SRD status website for the SRD status check section. You will then be asked to fill in your ID number, as well as the cell phone number that you used when you submitted your grant application.

After this, you will be able to check the progress of your SRD grant.

For security, you will receive a one time pin (OTP) which you will need to enter to see your R370 Sassa grant payment status. You will also be able to see your exact grant payment date.

Approved SRD grant beneficiaries without a payment date will not receive their R370 grant. This usually stems from incorrect or incomplete information.

Other common issues could be Missing Banking Details, having Postbank Accounts or incorrect numbers given for Cash Send/Mobile Money.

If these issues don't apply, contact the Sassa Customer Care Call Centre on 0800 60 10 11.

The SRD grant is set to come to an end in March 2025 with no further extensions expected due to a lack of funding being available.
