The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) provides the NSFAS bursary and NSFAS loan which offers to cover all a student needs. NSFAS applications for Trimester 3 are now open!
Academic calendars at TVET Colleges differ when compared to universities and other higher education institutions. This would then see NSFAS make different application periods available for TVET College students who are not doing year courses.
This NSFAS application period will close on 20 September, giving you just over two weeks to apply so hurry and apply before it’s too late and you miss out on this amazing opportunity.
NSFAS explained that these application periods were aligned closely to the academic calendar allowing students to apply for funding when they start their application. The financial aid scheme has also said students should apply for the relevant academic cycle which they intend to register in.
