SAPS Reports High Demand on eRecruitment Portal
The high volume of applicants has placed pressure on the SAPS eRecruitment portal, potentially causing delays for people attempting to register or submit their applications.
In a statement, SAPS acknowledged the technical challenges and confirmed that the portal remained operational.
“The high volume of traffic on the eRecruitment portal may result in delays or slower response times for applicants attempting to register or submit their applications.
“The portal remains operational. The SAPS Technology Management Services division, together with its technology partners, is working around the clock to manage the increased demand and ensure the continued functioning of the system.
“Applicants who have successfully submitted their applications are assured that their submissions remain valid and that no further action is required,” a police statement read.
SAPS has urged applicants to remain patient while using the system and to avoid repeatedly attempting to register or submit applications, as this could place additional pressure on the portal.
Applicants who have successfully submitted their applications do not need to take further action. Only those who have not received an acknowledgement email should consider reapplying.
Tips for Applying for SAPS Police Trainee Posts
Prospective police trainees can take the following steps to help avoid unnecessary delays:
- Apply outside peak hours where possible.
- Avoid repeatedly attempting to register or submit an application.
- Check whether an acknowledgement email has been received after submitting an application.
