Walter Sisulu University’s mission is to provide quality teaching and learning, research, innovation and community engagement.
The university has four campuses, namely Buffalo City, Butterworth, Mthatha, and Komani. WSU offers many different faculties, including the following:

Registration is done online and therefore students can register from wherever they are.
Students are reminded that they need to register before they will be allowed to attend lectures and gain access to student cards on campus.
Registrations for first time students open on 25 February 2021 and closes on 7 March 2021.
If you are a first-time student, here is what you need to know before you can register:
Step 1: Academic Admission
Before you are allowed to register, you will need to confirm your admission.
If you have not confirmed your admission status yet, click here to do so on their website.
Step 2: Student Number & Pin
You need a valid student number and an activated PIN to be able to log in when registering on the website.
Note: For those who have been accepted into residences, processes are in place to welcome arrivals strictly from Monday, 8 March 2021.
