The University of Limpopo is a public university in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, known for its focus on community development, research and practical education. It was formed on 1 January 2005 through the merger of the University of the North and the Medical University of Southern Africa, and is often called “Turfloop” after its main campus near Mankweng, east of Polokwane.
UL offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across four main faculties: Health Sciences, Humanities, Science & Agriculture, and Management & Law.
