Standard Bank Group Learnernships offer a work-based approach to learning. The programme integrates practical theory and includes both structured work experience and structured learning with an accredited training provider.
Now you can get a start in the banking sector by working for this top SA corporate employer. Not only do you get work experience, you'll also be studying towards a formal qualification.
Learners who are working on a Learnership will be paid a stipend of R10,000 plus medical aid.
Frontline Learnership - Gauteng
This programme is designed to provide exposure to branch banking operations, customer engagement, digital banking adoption and service excellence, creating a strong foundation for future opportunities within the banking sector.
Gain exposure to:
Client Liaison Officer (CLO) – Welcome and engage with customers, understand their needs, connect them to the right banking solutions and assist them with digital and self-service channels.
Cash Consultant (CC) – Assist customers with everyday cash and transactional banking needs, while ensuring transactions are processed accurately, efficiently and securely.
Universal Banker (UB) - Gain broad exposure to branch banking by supporting customers across a range of everyday banking needs, while building knowledge of banking products, processes and services.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across three areas, develop your customer service and communication skills, build your banking knowledge and experience what it’s like to work in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
• South African citizens
• Age between 18–30
• No more than 24 months’ work experience.

• Not be studying full/part-time studies that may conflict with work hours
Contract: Fixed Term – 18 months
