Edge Training is a fully accredited training provider that delivers Learnerships in South Africa - for the benefit of young people looking for quality training, and employers who can benefit from hosting the learners.
Edge Training has offices in three cities in South Africa, located in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg. As well as Learnerships Edge Training also offers short courses, work readiness programmes and soft skills workshops.
Register for a Learnership
Learnerships have to combine formal education with workplace experience. In this case Edge Training can offer the fully accredited training but they need an employer to host the learners for what is usually 12 months of the Learnership.
Because the Learnership cannot start until an employer is available, there is no fixed start date for Learnerships. This is one of the problems that young people face when they are looking for Learnerships.
Edge Training are there to help for young people as they allow them to register with them and post their personal details and experience. Then when a company is ready to start their Learnership programme Edge Training can match them up with young people who have registered with them and have the relevant skills and qualifications.
All Learnerships from Edge Training are fully accredited by the Services Seta. The Services Seta is one of the 23 training authorities that are responsible for promoting education and training towards formal qualifications in South Africa.
