Have you applied to study further yet? As we head into the last quarter of the year, many Universities will start closing their 2023 applications. Here are the universities which will close applications in November.

South Africa has 26 public Universities with some having opened their 2023 applications in March already and some having closed in July.

Universities which will be closing applications on 30 November are:

  • University of Fort Hare
  • Sol Plaatje University
  • University of Mpumalanga
  • Cape Peninsula University of Technology
  • Walter Sisulu University

The University of the Free State will be closing their 2023 applications on 15 January. Prospective students are however encouraged to apply as soon as they can to ensure that they secure their space before space runs out int heir desired programme.

We haven't yet mentioned the University of Pretoria (UP). This is because UP has no set closing date for applications for non-selection programmes for 2023 and it's instead based on available space. The university closed all applications for selection programmes on 30 June 2022.
