2024 registration is now open at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) for both new and returning students. Students wishing to study at CPUT for the 2024 academic year should register.
CPUT Registration Dates
- New students: 29 January – 9 February
- Returning students: 15 January – 2 February
Registration will only take place online for first-year undergraduate students for this academic year.
Faculty registration periods for returning students may vary, so students should refer to the registration booklet for more detailed registration information.
How to register
1. Visit the CPUT website, click on 'Student Online Services' and login using your student number and PIN.
2. Once you have logged in, select 'Student Enquiry' on the left. Click on 'Summarised Statement of Account' and ensure that all necessary payments have been made.
3. Select 'Student Administration' on the left. Ensure that all your personal information and contact details are correct.
4. Click on 'Academic Registration' on the left. Make sure that you have no registration restrictions, such as outstanding payments or academic exclusion. Even if you have been fully accepted, these restrictions will prevent you from proceeding with your registration.
5. Select 'Rules and Regulations' and accept the terms and conditions.
6. Click on 'Submit Registration' and ensure that all your details, including your qualification details are correct, before selecting 'Accept Registration'.
7. For your proof of registration, select 'Proof of Registration' and print out the document.
