Semester 2 applications for the 2023 academic year are officially open until 3 May at College of Cape Town. College of Cape Town has an extended range of Qualifications and accredited Short Courses to get you off in the right direction.

Programmes currently being offered are for NATED N4-N6 studies for Art & Design, Business Studies, Hospitality and Travel & Tourism.

College of Cape Town Courses You Can Apply For

  • Art & Design
    • N4-N6 minimum requirement: passed grade 12.
    • The course is offered at our City campus. All these courses are 18 months in class (three semesters) plus 18 months of in-service training.
  • Business management
    • N4-N6 minimum requirements: passed grade 12.
    • The course is offered at the following campuses: City (Full time ONLY), Crawford (FULL TIME AND PART TIME), and Guguletu (FULL TIME)
  • Financial management
    • N4-N6 minimum requirements: passed grade 12 with accounting.
    • The course is offered at our city campus
  • Human resources
    • N4-N6 ONLY part-time: minimum requirement is passed grade 12.
    • The course is offered at our Crawford campus.
  • Management Assistant
    • N4-N6: minimum requirement is passed grade 12, students with competency in computer typing, typing, information processing or computer application technology (Cat) will receive preference.
    • The course is offered at our City campus.
  • Hospitality
    • N4-N6: Minimum requirements: passed grade 12.
    • The course is offered full-time at our City campus.
  • Tourism
    • N4-N6: Minimum requirements: passed grade 12.
    • The course is offered at our City campus.
    • NB: All courses for people without grade 12/ NCV Level 4 are closed for this year.

How To Apply

All you need to apply for the course is: a certified copy of your ID, a certified copy of your results, and proof of address. No application fee is needed.

To apply you can either get a form from the relevant campus or download it from the College of Cape Town website and send it back to them via: email / post P.O Box 1054 Cape Town 8000 / hand deliver to the relevant campus indicated above.
