The College of Cape Town provides students with the opportunity to pursue a career in the Transport and Logistics fields. The course includes theory and practical components which equip students with the necessary skills for their future careers. 

Students develop various cognitive abilities during the 3-year course, which allows them to pursue one of two options. These include working in the industry and filling the skills gaps within the country, or enrolling at an institution of Higher Learning to further their studies in the field.

The course is provided at the City Campus. There are three levels to apply for:

  • Level 2: Students will need to have passed Grade 9.
  • Level 3: Students will need a level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Level 4: Students will need a level 3 qualification or equivalent.

How To Apply:

Step 1: Complete Application Form

Download the application form from the College of Cape Town website or collect one at a College of Cape Town campus nearest you. Once you have completed the application form, you will need to attach the following documents:

  • Certified copy of ID or birth certificate.
  • Proof of address
  • Copy of Grade 12 results or last grade passed. 

Step 2: Return Application Form

The completed application form and documents will need to be returned to the college in one of the following ways:

  • Sent to the address provided on the application form.
  • Fax it to the number on the application form.
  • Hand it in at the relevant campus where the course you are applying for is offered. 

Step 3: Acknowledgement of Application

You will receive an SMS acknowledging receipt of your application. The college will inform you about any further steps such as interviews, tests and assessments related to the field you have applied for.

Step 4: Application Status

The college will provide you will a letter confirming the status of your application. Successful candidates will receive a letter of acceptance or provisional acceptance.
