College of Cape Town Online Applications 2026
College of Cape Town has opened their Semester 2 applications for the new Occupational Programmes the 2026 academic year. These courses take the place of the N4 Nated programmes which have been replaced.
The College of Cape Town is a top public TVET College under the Department of Higher Education offering accredited career-oriented vocational and occupational programmes.
The following courses are available and the entry requirements:
- Bricklayer (NQF Level 4) - Grade 11
- Carpenter (NQF Level 4) - Grade 11
- Fitter and Turner (NQF Level 4) - Grade 9 Mathematics and Science pass
- Mechanical Fitter (NQF Level 4) - Grade 9, Mathematics
- Plumber (NQF Level 4) - Grade 11, Mathematics and Science pass
- Welder (NQF Level 4) - Grade 9, Mathematics and Science pass
Applications will close on 31st May 2026. Registration will be done in July 2026.
How To Apply

On the website click on Get Access Pin where you will create your profile. You need to have an email account to apply. You will get a confirmation email when your account is created.
Submit the following certified documents along with application:
- Birth certificate/ID/proof of application for new ID/passport
- Most recent academic results
- Certificate/Qualifications
- Proof of home address (Municipal billing documents/ other account statement not older than 6 months)
NSFAS Bursaries Available
Students at the College of Cape Town may apply for NSFAS online using myNSFAS. Semester 2 NSFAS applications will open from 1st July until 17th July 2026.
Here is how to apply for NSFAS online:
- Create a myNSFAS account via this link: https://my.nsfas.org.za/.
- Click on the ‘Apply’ tab to update your personal information and upload your application supporting documents
- Submit your application.
NSFAS provides financial relief for low-income households. They cover your tuition, registration, learning materials, transport, accommodation and other student needs.
