Reasons For Appeals From Continuing Students
Continuing students may submit an appeal if they failed to meet academic eligibility requirements due to certain circumstances, such as:
- Illness lasting two months or more consecutively.
- Giving birth during the academic term.
- Death of an immediate family member during the academic year.
- Being a victim of a violent crime.
- Appealing N+ status.

To access your NSFAS appeal status on myNSFAS,
Step 1: Login on the myNSFAS student portal. This will be your main NSFAS login point on the NSFAS website.
Step 2: Enter your username and password on the NSFAS official website and then click SIGN IN!
Step 3: Click on Track Your Funding Progress to check the NSFAS application status.
The NSFAS appeal process can only be initiated if the student has applied for NSFAS funding. It’s essential to provide all the required information and supporting documents to increase the chances of a successful appeal.
