January 2025 Sassa Grant Payment Schedule
Permanent social grants are typically disbursed starting from the second working day of each month, excluding weekends and public holidays. For January 2025, the payment schedule is as follows:
- Older Persons Grant: Friday, 3 January 2025
- Disability Grants: Monday, 6 January 2025
- Children’s Grants: Tuesday, 7 January 2025
SRD Grant Payment Dates
Payments for the R370 SRD grant will occur during the last week of January, between 25 January and 31 January 2025.
Where To Collect Sassa Grants In 2025
Beneficiaries have multiple options for collecting their grants:
- Bank Accounts: Payments can be deposited directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts. This is a convenient and secure option for many.
- Payment Points:
- ATMs: Withdraw cash at any ATM nationwide.
- Retail Stores: Collect your grant at participating retailers, including Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite, and Boxer stores.
Sassa assures beneficiaries that there is no need to rush to collect your funds on the first day. Once the grant is deposited, the money remains available in your account until you withdraw it
