During a parliamentary committee meeting, the Department said that various South African universities will allow late applications for 2024. (Don't attend in person as universities prefer not to have walk ins as they lead to very long queues). They prefer for all applicants to apply online.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who missed the initial application period to still get a chance at being a university student in the 2024 academic year. The closing date is different for each university. Also the closing date could be brought forward if the course fills up.
