UKZN Late Applications 2024
The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) is now accepting late applications from South African applicants for select programmes. Students are encouraged to apply before the fast-approaching deadline, which is 29 February.
Late applications are only available for select programmes. These programmes are located within the specified colleges.

It's important to note that late applications will NOT be accepted for programmes in the College of Health Sciences.

How The UKZN Late Application Process Works
Late applications will take place using the Central Applications Office (CAO). The KZN CAO will run a ‘virtual (online) walk-in-system’ to cater for applicants that might meet minimum requirements for admission to certain programmes.

Although officially late applications at UKZN close at the end of February, once all the places on a course are filled up there will be no more opportunity for late applications.
If you are not able to get a place at UKZN because they are full the next thing to try is the CAO. They will know of other courses that may be available in the Durban/KZN area.
The CACH service is now also open to assist young people who are looking for places. If you register on the CACH website and list your interests they will be able to tell you of any similar courses that are available to you.
Which Universities Are Open For Late Application 2024
While most universities are over-subscribed, some universities, and universities of technology, do have some spaces available and will be open for late applications. Check regularly on the home page of Careers Portal for daily updates on which universities still have spaces available on their courses.
