The Cape Peninsula University of Technology has now opened late applications for faculties with available spaces. Here are more details.

CPUT Late Applications 2024

Late applications at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) for the 2024 academic year are still open.

These CPUT late applications 2024 will only be for programmes at the university which have available spaces for more students. The following courses are now available:

Cape Peninsula University of Technology Late Applications

The programmes at CPUT with available spaces and can be applied for during the late application process can be accessed on the CPUT late applications page on the university website.

Applications must be submitted online and no application fee is charged. Only certain non-degree programmes identified within the Faculty of Health & Wellness Science must be completed manually.

How to Apply

Online Application

  1. Choose programmes and special requirements
    • Consult the prospectus to ensure that you meet the minimum requirements and subject requirements for your programme​​​​​​
  2. Gather documents or upload further/outstanding documents
    • Please take note of the following regarding supporting documentation prior to uploading during submission of your application:
      • Minor applicants, not 18 yet at the time of application are required to submit a Minor Application Declaration, click here to download the form.
      • Each document must be scanned, saved and uploaded individually against each uploading Certificate code during your online application submission
      • All documents must be scanned in any of the following file types: tiff, pdf, jpg or gif (MS Excel and MS Word document formats are not recognized)
      • The maximum scanned file size is 2MB each
  3. Submit your application and supporting documents

Applicants must ensure that they complete the application fully in order for the application to be considered by CPUT. Only those applicants who have followed the application processes set out by the university will be considered.

Late applications will close on 23 February. CPUT has said that the final lists of late applications for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes with possible spaces will be published by no later than 18 February 2024.
