Are you still interested in starting your studies in 2023? Fortunately, you can still apply to study at Unisa for the 2023 academic year! Keep reading to find out how to apply so that you can avoid missing the deadline.

Unisa refers to the University of South Africa. It is a distance education university that offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to students both locally and internationally. UNISA is the largest university in South Africa and is accredited by the South African government to offer higher education qualifications. 

Unisa has officially opened applications for select undergraduate programmes only.

These documents are required to apply:

  • A certified copy of your school results
  • A certified copy of any tertiary education academic records 
  • A certified copy of your ID document 
  • Sworn translations of any documents that are not in English or Afrikaans

How To Apply

  1. Visit the Unisa website
  2. Select "admissions" in the menu bar at the top of the screen, and the "apply for admission" from the drop-down menu
  3. Select "undergraduate admissions"
  4. Click on "start the process"
  5. Follow the prompts on the screen
  6. Fill in all your relevant personal details and ensure that you upload all the required documents

Your supporting documents will need to be uploaded by the same deadline as the applications. Late documents will not be accepted by the university. 

Ensure that you meet the necessary entry requirements for the qualification you wish to apply for. You may apply for a maximum for two qualifications, however, upon acceptance you may only register for one.

Applications will be open from 17 April 2023 until 5 May 2023. Apply now to avoid disappointment!
