Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College students have less than twenty-four hours to apply for National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) funding for Trimester 3.

NSFAS offers comprehensive bursaries and student loans to deserving learners enrolled in approved courses at universities and TVET colleges. These bursaries cover tuition and registration fees, as well as several allowances for food, accommodation and learning materials.

NSFAS confirmed that the Trimester 3 application period will close on 20 September 2024.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity—apply now before it’s too late!

NSFAS explained that its Trimester application periods align closely with TVET college academic calendars which allows students to apply for funding as they begin their studies. They advise applicants to apply for the relevant academic cycle they intend to register for.

Due to differences in academic calendars between TVET colleges and universities, NSFAS offers separate application periods for TVET students not enrolled in year-long courses.

How to Apply

This NSFAS application period is exclusively for TVET college students. You can submit your application through various channels, including your TVET college bursary office, the NSFAS online portal, or a NSFAS centre.
