How To Register

  1. Go to the official IEC website.
  2. Click on "Register To Vote Now"
  3. Click on "Begin Application Process"
  4. Enter your personal information such as your ID number, name and surname, and mobile number 
  5. Insert the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your mobile number 
  6. Capture your home address 
  7. Review and acknowledge your information 
  8. Upload a photo or file of your South African ID document 
  9. An SMS will be sent to your mobile number, acknowledging the successful registration application 

You are only registered to vote once you have received a receipt via SMS or email, or have confirmed that you are registered.
