How To Register At University Of Venda

The University of Venda (Univen) is located in Thohoyandou in the Vembe district of the Limpopo province. The university aims to produce graduates with knowledge, skills, and qualifications which are relevant locally and globally competitive.

Students are expected to uphold the university’s values of quality and excellence, integrity, respect, social responsibility, and Ubuntu. Multiple undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications are available to Univen students.

First-time entering and re-registering students should register as soon as registration opens to secure their place. Successful applicants which include new applicants and Univen students who applied for admission to a new qualification may only register if they received an offer of placement letter from the university.

Re-registering students are allowed to register during the relevant registration period once they have received their registration details from the university. The university has certain registration dates for certain programmes, students are, therefore, reminded to check the university website for the dates. 

Students who wish to change to an alternative qualification may also register. The students who wish to change to an alternative qualification will need to first contact their faculty administrator. 

All students without a loan or bursary will be required to pay an upfront minimum registration deposit. Once the registration fee has been paid, students will be allowed to register for the programme they were accepted into.

How To Register Online:

1. Visit the Univen website.
2. Insert your student number and pin.
3. Log in to register for your programme.

Prospective students who forgot their myAccess student number or pin may request it from the university. The Univen website provides a link to the Department of Information Technology Services which will help students retrieve their lost login details.
