Umngeni-uThukela Water Learnership Programme 2025 – 2026 Now Open for Applications

uMngeni-uThukela Water offers a thirty six (36) months training programmes under the below
mentioned fields. 

Applicants are invited who are currently residing in KwaZulu-Natal province so as to gain practical work experience in the following operations in the organisation

Minimum Requirements:

  • An appropriate qualification from Council of Higher Education (CHE) accredited tertiary institution.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens residing in KwaZulu-Natal. First preference will be given to applicants who are permanent residents of the identified local municipalities within UUW operational areas.
  • The programme is strictly targeting unemployed youth (under 35 years).
  • Applicants who have participated in another Internship / Graduate Training Programme before will not be considered in this programme.

Documents to Submit:

• Detailed CV
• Certified copy of Matric certificate or most recent school report
• Certified copy of South African ID
• Proof of residence (letter from Traditional Authority if applicable)
• Motivation letter explaining why you should be selected
• Affidavit confirming unemployment status
