Mthashana TVET College makes use of the Coltech Student Portal for it's applications process. Here are the Coltech application statuses you might see when tracking your Mthashana TVET College application:

Pending Verification

This status means that your profile has successfully been created and all mandatory documentation as been uploaded awaiting college review.

Pending Review

This status means that the applicant met the minimum admission requirements, and all the mandatory documentation has been approved by a College official.

Provisionally Accepted

This means that a second layer of approval has been conducted and the applicants has been provisionally accepted. The applicants will receive an email notification and can log into the student portal to accept the offer within 48 hours.

Pre-Enrolled

This status means that the applicant has accepted the offer to register for a specific programme.

Registered

If an applicant sees the status, they should visit the Campus to register for the programme they choose. The campus will then provide the student with a detailed proof of registration.

Outstanding Documents

This means that there are mandatory documents that haven't been uploaded yet or their documents are unclear or incorrect. The mandatory documents are:

  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Copy of your highest school grade passed
  • Proof of residence

Documents Reload

This status means that the applicant uploaded the outstanding documents and they are now awaiting college review.

Cancelled

This status means that the application was cancelled by the College official. Applicants who see this status should refer to the comments section of the e-mail correspondence received.

Cancelled Student

This means that the application was cancelled by the student.

Unsuccessful

If an applicant sees this status, this means that the application was unsuccessful. Applicants who see this status should refer to the comments section of the e-mail correspondence received.

Waiting List

If you see this status, it means that you didn't accept the offer within 48 hours and have now automatically been moved to the waiting list.

Verified Waiting List

If an applicant sees this status on Coltech, it means that the application has been reviewed but are being moved to the waiting list due to there being limited space available or further academic evaluation being needed.
