Parliament Advises Sassa Grant Beneficiaries To Opt For Bank Account Payments
The Portfolio Committee on Social Development advised grant beneficiaries who were unable to migrate to a new Postbank black card to choose a bank for grant payments.
Committee Chairperson Bridget Masango warned that the black card rollout suspension will negatively impact social grant beneficiaries. They added that it's vital that the validity of Sassa gold cards remain operational.
While we understand the complexities that surround this process, it is important to ensure that assurance is given to beneficiaries that there will be no disruptions in their use of the gold card and that they will receive their monies.
