The University of South Africa (Unisa) has recently urged all its students to note that maintenance work will be carried out on their myModules platform. This will be done with effect from Saturday 27 August 06:00 am until Sunday 28 August at 6:00 pm.
This serves to notify you that maintenance activities will be performed on the myModules platform from 27 August (06:00 am) to 28 August 2022 (6:00 pm).
The distance learning institution also announced that myModules system access and use will not be available during this time for both students and instructors. The maintenance task is carried out to guarantee optimum myModules functioning and effective data handling.
Students' online learning heavily relies on the use of the myUnisa platform. While waiting for their study materials to arrive, students are expected to be able to access their course materials on the myModules platform from within myUnisa, participate in discussion forums, submit assignments online, review announcements for each module, and attend e-tutoring for some of their courses.
The university’s guidelines can best inform students on on how to access and used the myUnisa and myModules platforms once the system is functioning again.
Unisa is the largest open distance learning institution in Africa and the longest-standing dedicated distance education university in the world, enrolling nearly one-third of all South African students.
