The University of South Africa (Unisa) has wished all their students well ahead of the October/November 2024 examination.

Unisa uses an Open Distance e-Learning (ODeL) approach to education. This means that students study from home and don’t attend any in-person classes. In recent years, the institution has also begun conducting its examinations online.

Students at the university are set to commence with their final 2024 exams this month. They are encouraged to begin their exam preparations and familiarise themselves with the Unisa examination rules.

As we commence with our October/November 2024 examination period, Unisa would like to wish our students the best with their upcoming examinations.

Proctoring Tools

The university uses proctoring tools to ensure the integrity of examinations is upheld.

Proctoring tools are online invigilating tools that require connection to a smartphone, laptop, or desktop with a functional camera. All students must use a proctoring tool while they write their exams.

Unisa warned that the non-usage of proctoring tools would result in the students’ results being withheld, and the identified students requested to re-register for their modules.

Exam Timetable

Unisa posts exam timetables to all students participating in the end-of-year exams. However, students can still access the exam timetable online.

Students who have not received their timetable are encouraged to contact the Unisa examination office. They can send an email to the Examination Administration Division at [email protected] with their student number.

Unisa called on students to adhere to their examination rules to uphold the credibility of examinations and qualifications.
