The University of South Africa (Unisa) has confirmed when the October/November exam results will be released. This is critical information for the thousands of students attending the university.

Unisa follows an Open Distance e-learning (ODeL) model, allowing students to study from home without attending any in-person classes. In recent years, the university has also moved its examinations online.

As an ODeL institution, Unisa is an ideal choice for many individuals regardless of their circumstances, work commitments, or lifestyle.

When Will Unisa October/November Exam Results Be Released?

Unisa has begun the staggered release of results for the October/November 2024 examination period. The majority of marks are expected to be released by 13 December 2024.

Students are reminded that module lecturers cannot assist with queries related to final marks. To ensure a faster response, all assessment-related enquiries should be directed to [email protected].

Remark and Script Purchase Deadlines

Students wishing to apply for a remark or purchase a copy of their examination scripts must do so by 31 January 2025.

The online remark application form can be accessed via myUnisa by navigating to the Examination Results tool in the administrative section. Alternatively, applications for remarking can be sent via email to [email protected], while requests to purchase scripts should be directed to [email protected].

Students are advised to include their student number in the email subject line for a quick response. However, Unisa highlights that requests for remarking or script purchases cannot be processed if the script has been flagged for a disciplinary offence or non-compliance with proctoring tool requirements (refer to Section 7 for details).

Unisa will only respond to enquiries sent from students’ myLife email addresses. Emails sent from personal accounts will not receive a response, in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) 4 of 2013.
