Where Sassa Grants Are Paid

Sassa Grant beneficiaries have two options for receiving their grants. They can choose to have their grant automatically deposited into their bank account. This is the recommended option, as the money stays safe in the account until it's needed. Alternatively, beneficiaries can collect their grants in cash from various locations, including ATMs, Pick n Pay stores, Checkers stores, Shoprite stores, and Boxer stores.

There is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.
