NSFAS will open the MyNSFAS Manager Portal on 13 January 2025 to enable institutions to upload 2025 student registration data.

This is aimed at facilitating the early disbursement of allowances to all TVET college students whose colleges have submitted their valid registration data.

NSFAS explained that the submission of accurate registration data remains critical for NSFAS to make payments to beneficiaries and to continuously confirm funding for students who meet academic eligibility requirements.

How TVET College Allowances Will Be Paid For 2025

The allowances payment channel for TVET college students remains their own bank accounts. Colleges should encourage new NSFAS-qualifying students to open a bank account at any South African banking institution.

Students are urged to register for their chosen academic cycles by the specified deadlines to ensure eligibility for NSFAS funding.

Following the registration deadline, NSFAS will initiate the process of verifying student information and preparing funds for disbursement. The schedule indicates the specific dates when students can expect their NSFAS allowances to be deposited into their bank accounts.
