It also individuals reapplying after a previously unsuccessful application and those transitioning from a higher certificate or another program to undergraduate studies

An important step in the application process is to identify programmes that align with your career goals and plans. Then, choose the programmes you'd like to apply for. This allows Unisa to assess your application and notify you of the decision.

Unisa offers admission for various undergraduate programmes at different National Qualifications Framework (NQF) levels. Applicants can apply to two programmes at the same time, including a lower-level program alongside their preferred choice.

For instance, applying for a Bachelor of Commerce degree might also involve applying for a higher certificate to meet the admission requirements.

However, completing a higher certificate does not guarantee acceptance into a higher-level programme due to limited space. Applicants with a higher certificate who want to pursue a diploma or degree program should explore related qualifications.

While applications for Honours Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas are closed for the 2024 academic year, there are still openings for a limited number of Master's and Doctoral programmes. These programs are filled on a rolling basis, so applying as soon as possible is highly recommended.
