Wanting to get back into the game and obtain your adult matric? Here's how.

Getting a job is difficult enough but doing it without Matric is even more difficult. If you're an adult who never had the chance to get their Matric, you still can. Here's how.

Day or Night Classes

The most straightforward and traditional option is to take classes during the day or at night.

Night classes are a great option for those individuals who work during the day and can't go during the day.

Distance Learning

Another great option is distance learning. With no classes, distance learning is perfect for those who can't take time off work to study. The downside of this is that you need to be disciplined enough to study in your own time.

A Matric certificate isn't the only option available to you.

TVET College

Many TVET Colleges offer National Certificate (Vocational), also known as NC(V). This will see you obtain a NQF 4 qualification which is the equivalent of Matric.

NC(V) puts emphasis on practical skills such as Business, Management or Hospitality among others.

Adult Basic and Training

Adult Basic and Training (ABET) is also an option. Through this, initiatives to provide literacy and skills training to people who are no longer of schooling age and helping adults who want to get their Matric are created.
