Registration has officially commenced for University of Fort Hare students. Here's all you need to know before starting your registration process.

The University of Fort Hare registration will commence on Monday, 30 January 2023 for both new AND continuing students. 

New students are welcome to go to either the Alice or East London campuses to register. Continuing students will need to register remotely online, but may go to campus for registration or finance queries.

Registration will close on 12 February 2023 for Undergraduate, Honours, Postgraduate Diplomas and Masters by Coursework students.

Registration will close on 31 March 2023 for Masters by Research and PhD students. 

Guidelines for online registration

1. Select 'Rules and Regulations' on the left of the screen, read the document and accept the terms and conditions. 

2. Select your employment status from the drop-down menu. Save and continue.

3. Select your relevant subjects. Remember to select all the compulsory courses. 

4. Click on 'Print Cost Details' should you want to print the registration costs.

5. Click on 'Accept Registration' should you wish to continue with the process.

6. If you want to add a course, you can select 'Add a Course to a Registration' on the left. Save before continuing. 

7. Select 'Proof of Registration' to print your proof of registration. 

8. Click on 'Proof and Statement' on the left if you want to print your statement. 

9. 'Process Status' will give you an indication if you have completed all the necessary steps of the registration process.

10. Select 'Student Administration' to ensure that all your personal details are correct. If you wish to update any information remember to save your changes. 

Your online registration is now complete.
